September 17. 2021.   Supreme Court of Judicature of Guyana Vaccination The Supreme of Court of Judicature of Guyana refused to provide injunction against the Covid-19 vaccination policy of the government. Teachers, public servants and other employees challenged before the Supreme Court of Judicature of Guyana the vaccination policy of the government including the requirement of vaccination or negative PCR test from public servants and public transport workers to access their workplace. The Supreme Court of Judicature found these measures reasonable restrictions on constitutional rights during the public health emergency, therefore, the injunction was not granted. The Supreme Court of Judicature also refused to impose the duty on the government to cover the expenses of the required PCR tests.
